And they're still crying like babies over modern sportsbikes 😭

I saw that too, enjoyed wiping my arse on that particular page.

I'd post a picture but, you know...

Someone wrote in and agreed, so it must be true.

And the irony is that they are attempting to build a turboed shitter which will definitely have no place on public roads.

It's really become a magazine of conflicting interests. Modern sportsbikes are a no-no but a 147bhp, 40 year old GS1000 is A-okay. Then they do a two page spread on a Moriwaki Z900RS, which turns grandpa's bike into something interesting. It's all very weird.

Don’t worry. They completely cut me off a long time ago.

Haven’t heard a word from anyone on the mag since May. Not a peep, which is very sad.

You were the only one on PS who could write. The rest were perfectly adequate, but dull and workmanlike. There was never any passion or talent displayed. Your writing has always been different and I've said it before, the only one who (at least in print) was able to get across what it felt like to be riding a bike.

So to paraphrase. Fuck them. It is genuinely their loss and the absolute state of PS nowadays just acts as proof.

Any idea what his name is on here? :)

It’s not unheard of for magazine staff to write (make up) “readers letters” to their magazine.

Presumably because the real letters saying “what the fuck have you done with PB, why have you turned a great mag into a shit one” don’t align with their ideas and plans?

No way. You'll be telling us that there are fake reviews on Amazon next!

I bit like several letters supporting editorial narratives about new bikes being shite?

I'm still cross with them about how they went about it and how they treated you.

I fart in their general direction....

PS really is the Victor Meldrew of motorcycling.

From both reading the mag and what he posted on the forum, that's down in a big part to one "odd" individual...................

You're fecking right it is.

Chris contacted me about using a ' letter ' from ' me ' when my OW had starting problems .

Ok said i but i didn't want Day's name in it to which he messaged back saying it wouldn't.

Next month there it is with Day's name all over it .

About as popular as The Sun on Merseyside.

Best thing we can do is sweep em up off the supermarket shelves and hide them in the sanitary towels aisle where they do most their shopping.
